husky tools
These videos were created as part of a social media campaign for Husky through Home Depot, in collaboration with 22squared. Working closely with the agency’s creative team, I helped shape the visual direction of the campaign from the earliest stages, developing concepts for how the tools should be presented, how the environments should feel, and how the animation could make the products feel premium, powerful, and dynamic.
Together with one other artist, I was responsible for bringing that direction to life through a series of fully CG spots. The goal was to create photoreal product imagery with the polish and energy of high-end commercial photography, while taking advantage of the flexibility and control that 3D animation allowed.
I was responsible for the initial visual development and design of the environments, as well as the animation, lighting, and compositing. I was also closely involved in refining the pacing, camera movement, transitions, and overall presentation of the products throughout the campaign.
Every element in the final videos was created entirely in CG, from the tools themselves to the surrounding environments, resulting in a cohesive visual system that could be adapted across multiple social executions.
